Shirley Becker

Shirley A. Becker, 80, Green Bay, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born on March 5, 1930 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to the late Harold and Emma (Roth) Brucks. On July 17, 1948, Shirley married Roland Becker in Menominee, Michigan. Shirley worked for Fairmont Foods as a bookkeeper for 13 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Model A Club and Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. Shirley was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting and was a Packer fan. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley donated her bone and tissue to help others in need. Survivors include her husband, Roland; two sons, Dan (Kathy) Becker, Steven (Mary) Becker, grandchildren, Kevin (Selena), Kurt (Amy), Laura (Jacob), Andrew, Eric, Emily; Jody (Paul), Michael (Heidi), Debra (Jim); great-grandchildren, Nate, Nicholas, Noah, Mira, Lucy, Rosa, Alexis, Madison, Paul, Kyle, Skylar, Lexi and three great-grandchildren on the way. Visitation will continue on Saturday, March 5 from 10:00 at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 South Madison Street, until the funeral service at 11:00 am with the Rev. Larry Lange presiding.
