llection. What started with birthday and Mother's Day gifts, turned into a successful online retail site with an international customer base. Many will also recognize Mary as an accomplished horsewoman. Mary's love for horses was handed down from her mother, Jean Everson. It all began with a Standard bred Mare named Mae West, who was said to be the best match-race horse in the neighborhood. From that point, Mary was hooked and went on to continue to raise and show AQHA and APHA horses for over 50 years. Mary and her daughter Stacy, were familiar faces at horse shows throughout the state. Mary's horses earned numerous AQHA, APHA and PtHA points throughout their show careers. Mary took a brief hiatus from horse shows and then she saw a handsome Tobiano gelding that one of her customers was looking to sell and she was hooked all over again. She began showing at APHA and PtHA shows and was named the WPHC 2004 Amateur Exhibitor Rookie of the Year by her peers. She was also an inaugural member and long-time supporter of the NEWPHA and was instrumental in the formation of the Great Northern Paints and Midwest Saddle Clubs, serving each organization in various capacities. Mary also supported the T.R.U.S.T. handicapped-riding program and served on the Board of Directors.
