Charles W. Zuege, 79, Green Bay, died after a recent illness on Sunday, May 1, 2011. He was born to the late Clarence and Emma (Hardtke) Zuege in Luxemburg, Wisconsin. On May 30, 1957 he married Connie Geesaman at St. John the Baptist Church in Howard.
Charlie and his family traveled extensively to most of the US and Canada and later with Connie enjoyed destinations including Spain, Morocco, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, Hong Kong and China.
Charlie worked from 1952 until 2001 for International Harvester Trucks and a successor business, Packer City International.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Susan of Madison, Ohio, Neil and Chris of Green Bay and Carl and Lori of Howard; six grandsons, Nathan, Kyle, Jared, Charles, Maxwell and Benjamin and brother Merlin of Ashwaubenon.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife Connie.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 South Madison Street, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Julie Wrubbel-Lange officiating. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
