Rita Leurquin

Rita Leurquin, 89 Green Bay, passed away at a local nursing home Saturday, September 24, 2011 with her family at her side. She was born April 18, 1922, to the late Alex and Mary (Jonet) Romuald. She married Norman Leurquin August 4, 1945. He preceded her in death March 19, 2003. Rita enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and planting and caring for her flowers. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She traveled to Texas for many years, and loved her cat Dusty. Survivors include three sons; Allan (Alice), Brian (Arlena), John (Tammy), two daughters; Carol Bero, Lori (Andy) Kurowski, sister; Dolphine Malcore, twenty grandchildren; Carrie (Rusty) Johnson, Kelly (Jim) Vander Linden, Tracy (Chris) Eliott, Brenda (James) Trudell, Kim Buntin, Kevin Leurquin, Ryan Leurquin, Jeffrey Leurquin and fiance Amanda Babcock, Scott (Becky) Leurquin, Mark Leurquin, Joshua Kohn, Michael Kohn, Amanda Kohn, Kiara Leurquin, Marisa Leurquin, Kelsie Leurquin, Taylor Kurowski, Danielle Kurowski, Amanda Kurowski, Khristina Kurowski, Twenty six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Parish wake services will take place at 7 p.m.. Visitation will continue from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1423 Kellogg St.. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m., at the church with Rev. Don Everts officiating. A memorial fund has been established in RitaÃÆ'�¢s name. The family would like to thank Woodside Lutheran Home. Especially Mullberry Meadows Unit for their wonderful care given. Also would like to thank Unity Hospice for their care.
