Kenneth (Ken) F. Cormier, 92, Ashwaubenon, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence. He was born September 13, 1919 to the late Fred and Cecil (Aerts)Cormier. On April 27, 1943 he married the former Arleen L. Heuvelmans at Old St. Joseph's Church, De Pere. Ken worked at Buth Oil, Fort Howard Paper Co., Larry's Sinclair, and retired from Nicolet Paper Mill in De Pere. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Ken is survived by his children, Karen Czyzewski (Ron Viaene), Lakewood, Keith Cormier, Ashwaubenon, Barbara (Scott) Davis, Oneida, Gail (Dale) Dhuey, Ashwaubenon, Diane (Ken) Van Den Plas, Bonduel, 10 grandchildren; Jeffrey (Pam) Czyzewski, Jean (Tom)Castaneda, Julia (Steve) Busch, Matthew (Dee) Davis, Jody (Jeffrey) Johnson, Rebecca Davis, Brandon Dhuey, Mandi (Branden) Luehring, Adam Van Den Plas, Traci Van Den Plas; ten great grandchildren (1 due in Feb.); two great, great grandchildren (one due in Nov.). ws, family and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Arleen, brother and sister-in-law Harold and Verlyn Cormier, and son-in-law Eugene Czyzewski. Also preceded in death by sister-in-law and husband Lorraine and Sylvester (Bud) Doro, brothers-in-law Roland Heuvelmans and Roman Geurts. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from noon till 4 pm, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. Funeral service will take place at 4 pm followed by full military honors. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. The family would like to thank Betty Van Den Plas for officiating the services. The family would also like to thank Dr. Robert Mead, Dr. Amanda Sommerfeldt, and Unity Hospice. Also, a special thanks to Cindy, Erica, Carrie, Cathy, and the rest of the Unity staff.
