Marlene Ness, 71, Green Bay, died Sunday evening, October 9, 2011, at a local nursing home. She was born on Dec. 25, 1939, to the late Elmer and Lena (Doern) Ness. Marlene was employed by Aspiro (formerly BARC Industries).
Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law: Diane and Jim Rowe, Denmark, and Charlotte Schenkus, Green Bay; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Gerald Ness, De Pere, Lee and Linda Ness, Jacksonville, FL, and Sharon Ness, Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends: Larry G., Dick and Jean, Joe and Molly S., Tom R. and Mrs. Kline.
In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by one sister, Janice, and one brother, Paul.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home, where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Fort Howard Memorial Park. Marlene's family would like to thank all of the wonderful people at Brown County Treatment Center, Green Bay Oncology, St. Vincent's Hospital and Unity Hospice for the exceptional care that they provided.
