Pedro Bennasar

Mr. Pedro Bennasar Valles departed this world to go be with the Lord in Heaven on May 17, 2010. He was surrounded by his family at the Hospice Care where he passed peacefully in his sleep after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was born in Mallorca, Spain on July 21, 1931. He was the oldest of 5 children born to Lorenzo and Maria Valles. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ana Maria Munoz Bennasar; his 3 children, Lorenzo Bennasar and his wife Annette, his daughter, Elisa Travieso and her husband Jorge, and his daughter, Ana Alder and her husband Dean; his 8 grandchildren, Pedro, Lorenzo and Melissa Bennasar, Michael and Andrew Travieso, Jonathan and Jennifer Luis, and Jake Adler. He is also survived by 1 great-grandchild, Jayden Luis; and his 4 siblings, Francesca, Miguel, Lorenzo and Esperanza, who reside in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 20th from 4-6pm and immediately following the service from 6-8pm a celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home’s community hall.
