Daniel James Smith, age 35 of Hugo, Minnesota and formerly of Grand Forks, ND, passed away December 4, 2011. Dan was a valued Harley Automotive salesman in the Forest Lake office. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Kathleen and Eugene Jackson and Dick and Suzi Smith; and uncle, Jim Jackson. Dan is survived by wife, Bethany Clare; children, Ashley Jordan and Jackson Daniel and their mother, Andrea; mother, Katie Smith; father, Scott Smith; siblings, Kelly (JT Costa), Greg and Sarah; aunts and uncles, Gene and Sue Jackson, Ned and Jane Jackson, Mark and Betsy Jackson, Amy and Steve Hankey, Beth and Steve Johnson, Kathy Jackson, Dan and Georgia Smith, Barb and Jerry Evanson, and Suzanne and Bob Rossi; cousins and many friends.
