Norma Reitz

Norma Reitz, 89, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2011. She was born on August 20, 1922, in Alexandria, MN to the late Julius and Bertha (Kenas) Keipe. Norma married Marvin Reitz on July 1, 1950 in Fond du Lac, WI. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2002. Norma served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. She enjoyed bird-watching, planting and caring for her flower gardens. For many years she hand sewed Christmas mice for her relatives and friends. Norma was grateful to her family, neighbors and friends for all the love, friendship and support shown to her. Norma is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law. nd Alma Rakow. Visitation will take place Friday, December 9, 2011, at Lyndahl Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. when a funeral service will be held with Rev. Scott Malme officiating. Entombment will be at Fort Howard Mausoleum. A memorial fund has been established for Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Norma's name. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Grancare Gardens Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for their compassionate care and for all that they have done for Norma and her family.
