Ellen M. Consigny

Madison - Ellen M. Consigny, age 45, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, December 9, 2011. She was born on April 9, 1966 to Patrick and Mary Lou (Mohrhauser) Roach in Madison. Ellen attended grade school at Blessed Sacrament, and graduated from Edgewood High School in 1984. She went on to attend Upper Iowa University, receiving an Accounting Degree in 1994. Ellen was united in marriage to Daniel on April 16, 1994. She worked in numerous accounting positions throughout the city of Madison. Her family was her greatest joy. Ellen was a great wife and the best mom to her two sons. Family time, whether it was watching TV, sitting down to dinner every night, laughing at the stories of everyone's day, going on walks with Dan, taking the boys to school or watching their athletic events, each moment was precious to Ellen. She loved going to church with her family every weekend as well. Ellen enjoyed the outdoors, running and exercise. ildren, Brad, age 15, and Tim, age 13; her mother, Mary Lou; her siblings, Pat, Terry, Mike, Ann (Lee) Haase; her mother and father-in-law, Robert and Patricia Consigny of Janesville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2011 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Avenue, Madison with Fr. Patrick Norris, O.P. officiating. In honor of Ellen, memorials will be given to her children's education fund.
