Dorothy Oliver

Dorothy was born August 20, 1922 in Spokane, Washington to Charles and Elsie Woodruff. She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1940. Dorothy was married to Walter Oliver in 1941; they were blessed with 6 children: Jerry, Linda, Charlotte, Bill, Dennis, and Tom. Dorothy enjoyed being a farm wife and living on the farm. She was a member of the Liberty Center United Methodist Church. Dorothy passed away August 20, 2008 at the Lucas County Health Center in Chariton. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1985; her parents; a brother and sister; and a great granddaughter. Dorothy is survived by her children: Jerry (Carol) Oliver of Melcher-Dallas, Linda (Ed) Wild of Pleasantville, Charlotte (Myron) LeFleur of Dexter, Bill (Kristin) Oliver of Adair, Dennis (Laura) Oliver of Pleasantville, and Tom Oliver of Glenwood; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and friends.
