Valeria Ann Rich

Valeria Ann Rich, 33, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 27, 2009 after her passing at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Valeria was born April 12, 1975 in Springfield, IL to Jim and Carla (Lash) Phillips. She married Shawn Rich on May 25, 1997 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed working with the handicapped at Tenco. Approximately ten years ago she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She attended the Cornerstone Community Church in Chariton. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school classes, scrap booking, and fishing. Valeria's children were her life. , and Luke (Angela) Rich of Chariton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, from 4-6 PM at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Funeral Services will be on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery north of Russell. Memorials may be made to the family and will be directed at a later date.
