Dorothy Grim

Dorothy Maxine Grim, age 97, formerly of Bussey died on December 8, 2009 at the Knoxville Hospital, Hospice Room. Dorothy was born on September 11, 1912 in Delta, Iowa to Albert G. and Gertrude (McNabb) Willey. She was a graduate of Delta High School. She married Emmett Lundy on December 17, 1931. She later married Oscar Grim on October 21, 1941 in Unionville, MO. Oscar passed away in 1978. She was a housewife, and she also was a cook at the Bussey Café for many years. She retired in 1977. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bussey. She was a hard worker, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a very caring person. She is survived by four children: Maureen (Herschel) Casey of Kansas City, KN, Dolores Walker of Des Moines, Ronald D. (Jane) Grim of Des Moines, and Gordon E. (Kathy) of Knoxville. Six granddaughters, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandson also survive Dorothy. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Oscar, and three sisters: Eva, Edith, and Irene.
