Raymond Pierschbacher

Memorials Pine Hill Cemetery Raymond was born March 19, 1928 in Lucas County to Henry and Doshie Fetro Pierschbacher. He attended country school near his home. Raymond worked at the coalmine and for the railroad pulling wire with his mule. He loved farming especially taking care of is horses, goats, and mules. His favorite past time was riding his four-wheeler around the farm with his dogs. He also enjoyed gardening and sitting on his porch. His grandchildren will remember all his stories about growing up on the farm, working with horses, and the troll story from when he was growing up. Raymond passed away April 3, 2010 and was preceded in death by his wife Gladys in 2006. Raymond is survived by his children: Dianna (Roger) Bauman of Grinnell, Randy (Kathy) Pierschbacher of Chariton, and Marsha (Zeke) Sanders of Chariton; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and siblings: Marvin Pierschbacher, George Pierschbacher, Thelma Peterson, Darlene Gibbs, and Martha Lamberson; along with many relatives and friends.
