Foiest Walden Storie, age 80, of Springboro, OH; went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at Kettering Hospital. Walden was born in Byrdstown, TN on October 9, 1931 to Estel and Nenah (King) Storie. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army and received the Silver Star and Purple Heart. Walden retired from General Motors Delco Moraine following 33 years of employment and was an active member of the Springboro Baptist Church for 40 years where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his son Jeff Storie and brother Hollis Storie. Walden is survived by his wife of 60 years Cora (Moon) Storie; a daughter Sandy Storie Bergheger; grandchildren Sara, Allison, and Haley Bergheger; Josh and Callie Storie; a daughter-in-law Barbara; 2 brothers George and Rick Storie; 2 sisters Ruth Storie Moon and Angie Storie Stembridge; and also many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Funeral services are Saturday December 17, 2011 at 11am at Springboro Baptist Church with Rev. Cornelious Hancock and Rev. Arnold Moon officiating.
