d their family. She served as Sunday School and Bible School teacher, as a member of Women's Guild and as an organist at Bethany E&R Church in Ledyard. She and Soren traveled extensively, to Europe, Hawaii and Russia as well as to their summer cabin in Floodwood, MN and their winter home in McAllen, TX. Violet enjoyed the outdoors. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed helping with the farm work. Violet remained on the family farm after Soren passed away in March, 1986 until she moved to Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont, MN and then to Valley View in September 2010. Left to cherish her memory are four children: sons Gerald Pedersen (and his wife Dorothy), Henry Pedersen (and his wife Pam) and John Pedersen (and his wife Connie), all of rural Ledyard and daughter Caroline Tokheim (and her husband Bill) of Bulverde, TX. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, one sister, Norma Wittkopp of Portland, OR, brothers-in-law Sig (Irene) Clow, Don Rysdahl, Wayne Bonkrude, and Ruben (Helen) Pedersen and sister-in-law Margaret (Herschel) Haught. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Soren Pedersen, her sisters Ruth Selberg and Ramona Clow, 2 granddaughters, Prairie Marie Pedersen and Jennifer Lee Pedersen; 4 sister-in-laws and 7 brother- in-laws.
