Pamela Kay Wasson, 58, of New London, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Park Place, Mt. Pleasant. She was born November 21, 1953 in Burlington, the daughter of Donald M. and Joanne Louise Duebner Wasson. She was a 1972 graduate of New London High School. She was of the Lutheran faith. For 35 years, she worked for Hon Industries as a fork lift operator and on the wash line. She was a lifetime member of the New London Donald M. Wasson VFW Post 7641 Auxiliary. Miss Wasson was a Snoopy collector and enjoyed Snoopy and Charlie Brown cartoons. She also collected Walt Disney movies. She was a football fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed TV reality shows, Bassett hounds, hand held solitaire games, word find puzzles and the color purple. Miss Wasson is survived by her mother of New London; one sister, Lori "Lena" (Mike) Polka of New London; and two nephews, Justin & Derrick Poe. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Kevin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 PM, Thursday, December 29 at Elliott Chapel, New London.
