Aldona Amberger

Aldona Amberger, age 72 of Ambler PA, died Friday in the Chestnut Hill Hospital, Philadelphia after an extended illness. Born in Lithuania, she was the daughter of the late Aldof and Martha (nee Zachris) Redentaite. She was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School and worked in the production department of PARS Manufacturing in Ambler for many years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Amberger was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Ambler. She is survived by her beloved husband Gerhard Amberger and is the devoted mother of Philip G. Amberger and his wife Shannon of Lansdale, PA and David Amberger and his fiancée Penney Heinrich of Telford. She is the loving grandmother of Jacob and Grace Amberger. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church Main & Poplar Sts. Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
