vel and since her husband was a Eureka College of Illinois classmate of President Ronald Reagan graduating together in 1932, she and Henry attended the first Inaugural Ball as guest of the Reagans and enjoyed many visits with "Dutch" and Nancy. Edna was honored with an honorary degree from the Eureka College in recognition of many years of support. In 1967 she and Henry retired and spent 26 winters in Florida, returning to Vennevoll for the summers where she continued her interests in needlepoint and hardanger. She is survived by a sister, Beatrice Bublitz of Stoughton; special nieces and nephews Kathryn (Pat) Shelley, Sun Prairie; Jane (Michael) Cleary, California; Jeffrey (Barbara) Bublitz, Edgerton; grand nieces and nephews, Lynn (William) Panton, Kevin (Sandra) Shelley, Deanne (Steven) Rohde, Tim (Valerie) Cleary, Erin (Jeremy) Saunders, Jessica Noggle, Jarrod (Stacey) Bublitz, Jacqueline (Travis) Thompson, Jamie Bublitz; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Olaf and Nelson Kaupanger of Stoughton, a sister, Susanna Klinefelter, Deerfield, WI. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Skaalen Chapel, 400 N. Morris St., Stoughton, with the Rev. Paula Geister-Jones officiating. Burial will take place at Eastside Cemetery in Stoughton, followed by a reception at the Skaalen Friendship room. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of services Saturday. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Stoughton, Skaalen Home of Stoughton, or the Stoughton Hospital Auxiliary. Edna's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff on the Riverwalk unit for their friendship, care and compassion for our Aunty during her five years there. We also want to thank Agrace HospiceCare for all their help during Edna's last few months.
