David J. Connelly

Madison - David J. (Cook) Connelly, age 52 passed away peacefully on January 5, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on February 25, 1959, to Jim and Norma Connelly. Dave married Jodi Kelley at Luther Memorial Church, where he was baptized as an infant. He was a quiet and thoughtful man who loved nature and fishing. He worked hard to pass college math classes in order to earn his welding degree. Most of all he loved his family. Dave is survived by his two sons; Joe (Tammy) and Josh Connelly, his mother; Norma (Mac) Busser, brother; Jim (Donna) Connelly, a sister-in-law; Kristi Connelly, nephew; Ryan (Rachel) Connelly and his step sister; Andrea (Jim) and their children Marita and Andrew. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Dave was predeceased by his brothers; Joe and Tim Connelly, his father Jim Connelly and Norma's husband, LaVerne Busser. Funeral services will be held at OAKWOOD VILLAGE PRAIRIE RIDGE CHAPEL (OAKWOOD VILLAGE EAST), 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 3:00 pm with Chaplin Byron Bunge officiating.
