Fannie M. Shields

Fannie M. Shields, age 67, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at home. She was married 49 years to James Shields. Fannie was an active volunteer in the community and a nutritional site manager for the elderly. She is survived by her husband James, sons James "Jay" (Kimberly), Jesse (Carolyn), John and Uluster; mother Lula Wells; sisters Leona Robinson, Mary Hunter, Geraldine Bush; brother Rev. Sam Wells; grandchildren Justin, Tiffany, Marcus, Mitchell, Chanelle, Julissa, Alexis, Olivia, Jordan and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Willie Jamison; brothers Willie Wells, Johnnie Bush and James Tate. Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2019 Fisher Street, Madison. Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Committal service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery following the service.
