Rebecca "Becky" Kading

Rebecca "Becky" Kading, was one of "Heaven's Very Special Children" sent to earth to teach us greater love, more tenderness and greater faith. Her work done, she went home to the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 15, 2012. She was born in Green Bay to Ronald and Carolyn (Lewis) Kading on May 29, 1965. Becky loved her Sunday special Bible class, reading the specially written stories, the prayers, the projects and treats. Becky loved to go to work at Aspiro and be with her friends there. Going to the cottage for swimming and boat rides were great joys. She rode the personal water craft behind Mom or her siblings. She loved to root for the Packers and loved to wear Packer clothes including her cheese head necklace on Fridays. She rooted for the Wisconsin Badgers including their hockey games. She was an excellent sports spectator having watched her sister and two brothers for 18 years in all kinds of sports and in dancing. She loved feminine things like jewelry and dressy clothes and smelly lotions. She is also survived by Uncle Jerry and Aunt KayMarie, Aunt Sandy, Aunt Terry and Uncle Ken and Aunt Kathy and her cousins and her Sunday school teachers Diane Lahiti (for 30 years, she loved you more on Sunday morning) and Kris Perry and her Sunday school friends. Also all of her friends and supervisors at Aspiro. She now visits in heaven with her maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Gertrude Lewis; her paternal grandparents, Frank and Francis Paape and Leo Kading, Baby Kading, Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Rick. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2066 Lawrence Drive, De Pere, from 10 am until the funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. John M. Parlow officiating. Interment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established for St. Mark Church, St. Mark Prayer Path or Aspiro.
