remembered for her love of flowers, gardening, crafts, making plates, oil painting and baking pies. Alice loved quilting and would donate them to people and the Shetek Bible Camp. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy Therkilsen of Jeffers; three children, James Leopold and his wife, Jean, of St. James; Patricia Rasmussen and her husband, Harlan, of Jeffers; and Janell Johnson and her husband, Richard, of New Ulm; five step-children, Rodney Therkilsen and his wife, JoAnn; Jennifer Therkilsen-Gebhart and her husband, Duane; Jay Therkilsen and his wife, Alberta; Randy Therkilsen and his wife, Maureen; and Terry Therkilsen and his wife, Jeri; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; nineteen step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Evelyn Pooch of Minneapolis; Mildred Pooch of Mound; and Arlene Nerem and her husband, Ray, of Lamberton; one brother, Bill Halter and his wife, Lillian, of Springfield; and several other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Wesley Leopold; one son, Dennis Leopold; four brothers, Arnold, Lloyd, Floyd, and infant Clarence Halter; and one sister, Gladys Krueger.
