ve with her uncle. She arrived via train at the Cincinnati Union Terminal in 1938. She worked at National Distillers and Formica in Cincinnati. She also ran a restaurant in the Lockland area with her first husband Ernest Mayer. Evelyn was a great cook and loved to garden. She adored her family and never let anyone leave the house without saying, "May the good Lord watch over you and bless you." Our dear mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend will be missed but we all know the Lord has her by his side and we have an angel watching over us. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin) Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
