nd shared her talent with her family, friends and organizations. She loved reading medical thrillers, researching her family genealogy and spending time with her family and grandpuppies. In addition to her husband survivors include two daughters, Laurie (Doug) Muench of Rio and Oriana (Chas) Layman of Wausau; a son, Tyler Spurgeon of Antigo; a sister, Ann Scott of Racine; a brother-in-law, Gerald (Beverly) Spurgeon of Antigo; other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, William Scott. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and conclude with Christian prayer and reflection lead by Reverend David Karolus at the Bradley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mrs. Spurgeon's name may be directed to the ALS Association or the Homme Home of Wittenberg.
