Allen Wayne Brockert MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Allen Wayne Brockert, 58, of Keokuk, formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at his home in Keokuk. Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Island Cemetery, Fruitland. Casket bearers will be Steve Haley, Chuck Behnke, Chad Behnke, Leroy Holtz, Joey Gelhken and Thomas Hahn. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Fruitland Community Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Allen's name. Allen Wayne Brockert was born on September 6, 1953, in Muscatine, the son of, Jim Brockert and Delores Elshoff Holtz. Allen was united in marriage to Joan Wilson. They later divorced. Allen was engaged to Linda Hall. Allen worked for several years at Carver Pump and later was self-employed, helping for many years on the Peterson Farm.
