Candy M. Deitrick, age 43 of Colfax, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Howard Street Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Friday January 27, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at church. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Candy Deitrick Memorial Fund and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The daughter of Donald Edward and Millie M. (Miller) Dobbs, Candy was born on May 19, 1968 in Chandler, Arizona. On March 31, 1990, she was united in marriage to Douglas Deitrick. Candy received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development form the University of Northern Iowa in 2009. Kids were her life. She was also a member of the Howard Street Christian Church.
