Kathy Hale

Kathleen Lucille Hale, 63, of Shenandoah, Iowa, died peacefully at her home in Autumn Parks Apartments, Shenandoah, Iowa on Monday, March 27, 2006, where she was the manager. She was the daughter of Marian Lucille Rhoades and Ronald Edward Smith, both preceding her in death. Kathy was married to Carl Hale, and one son, Jeffery, was born to this union. Her son is a United Methodist minister who presently resides in Valentine, Nebraska. Her entire life was lived in Shenandoah. She was a member of the Shenandoah United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by many friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Valentine United Methodist Church, Rev. Jeff Hale, 804 East 5th Street, Valentine, Nebraska 69201. Memorial services were held on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah. Words of comfort were given the Rev. Jeff Hale. Inurnment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.[more]
