Alter A. MandelDecember 24, 1922- December 27, 2011Born in Lodz, Poland, Al was a remarkable man who immigrated to Canada and then the USA- with not much more than the shirt on his back. Without question, Al knew how to turn adversity into strength, love and generosity.He will be deeply missed and forever fondly remembered by his beloved wife, Dora; two adoring daughters, Debra and Cheryl; three treasured granddaughters, Remi, Delainey and Tiffany and DoraÂ's family; Esty, Nesa, Roger, Ora, Jeff ,Jake, Benjamin and Sarah. AlÂ's amazing zest for life touched the hearts and souls of everyone who ever met him.
