Betty Mae Mickelson

Betty Mae Mickelson, age 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare Inc., in Fitchburg. Betty is survived by her son Jim (Sandra) Mickelson, grandchildren; Jamie, Sue (Brian) Kvalheim and Sara (Mike) Meske, great grandchildren; Dakotah and Jade, many nieces and nephews and brother-in-law Roger Engelstad. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, brother Lloyd Hannem and brother-in-law Jerome Mickelson and sister-in-law Doris Engelstad. Betty was an avid card player and the "quilting queen". She will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare Inc. for their kind and caring service. Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at Cress Funeral Home, 201 Bue St., Deerfield from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Also, visitation will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church, 3494 Oak Park Rd., Deerfield. Funeral service will be held Saturday following the visitation at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church. Memorials can be made to St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church. [more]
