ton, and later in Ottumwa. She also worked at the Continental Overall Factory in Oskaloosa. Her last employment was sorting seeds seasonally for McCurdy's in Fremont. She retired in the early 1990's. She and Floyd enjoyed wintering in Texas while they were able. Eileen enjoyed crocheting, sewing, fishing, mushrooming and especially dog sitting "Buffy." She is survived by a daughter; Caroline Seaba and husband, Donald, of Atalissa, a son; Eugene Jones and wife, Juanita, of Martinsburg; four grandchildren, Gary Seaba, Scott Seaba, Lisa Allen, and Gene Jones; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and three sisters-in-law, Opal Jones, Pauline Ferns, and Joan Ferns. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Andy, Dale, Louie and Russell Ferns; a half-sister, Maude; six half-brothers, Bill, Lloyd, Ray, Claude, Carl and Harold, a step-brother, Ernest; and a great-granddaughter, Brittany Anne Seaba.
