Carol Anne Bonwell the daughter of Donald and Stella (Spaulding) Lewis, was born in Shenandoah, Iowa on September 11, 1933. Carol entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Shenandoah, Iowa. After her birth, the family moved to Grand Junction, Iowa, where they made their home for many years. Carol attended school in Grand Junction, graduating from the Grand Junction High School with the Class of 1951. On April 25, 1955, she was united in marriage to James Paul "Jim" Bonwell in Shenandoah, Iowa. Following their marriage, they made their home in Shenandoah and were blessed with three daughters, Jamie, Becky and Molly. Through the years, Carol worked for the Evening Sentinel, KMA Radio and owned Countryside Florist for over 10 years. She also worked alongside her husband, Jim, helping to manage the American Legion Country Club. In later years, she was employed at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home until retiring and moving to Omaha. Preceding Carol in death were her parents; and husband, Jim Bonwell in March of 2002.
