Joseph Francis Boston

Joseph (Marlin) Francis Boston, age 81, of Franklin, OH; passed away Friday February 24, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Hamilton, OH following a lengthy illness. Joseph was born in Gallia County, OH on August 11, 1930 to William and Florence Boston. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force, graduated from Rio Grande College where he met his wife of 50 years Leona (Oiler) Boston. Following his teaching career, he served as a paramedic in Franklin and was a founding member of JEMS. Joseph later earned his Master's Degree at the University of Dayton and retired from Family Services of Middletown. He was preceded in death by his wife Leona in 2011, his parents William and Florence Boston, 2 brothers Dexter and Bill Boston. Joseph is survived by his 3 children Becci (Boston) Perkins, Mike Boston, and Amy (Boston) Collins; his 6 grandchildren Ryan T. Smith, Kyle Perkins, Logan Boston, Trevor Collins, Dylan Collins, and Bailey Perkins; a twin brother Garland Boston and his wife Glenna; and several nieces and nephews.
