Henry "Hank" M. McNally, 80, Green Bay, passed peacefully into God's arms on Monday, February 27, 2012. Hank was born on March 3, 1931 in Sturgeon Bay to the late John F. and Gladys (Berner) McNally. After graduation, he served his country as a member of the U. S. Navy. On May 27, 1971, he married his wife, Lenora. Hank was employed as a corrections officer at the Green Bay Correctional Institution. After his retirement, he was employed by the Round Table Real Estate Company. He enjoyed his cottage up north which he referred to as heaven on earth as well as fishing, hunting and swimming. He was a certified lifeguard. He also enjoyed doing woodworking projects and watching sports especially the Packers. Hank taught religion classes at Calvary Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Lenora; his children, Sandy McNally and David (Tara) McNally; his step-children, Jane (Ron) Cherney, Cheryl Vanderkam, Wayne Vanderkam and Pete (Linda) Vanderkam; seven grandchildren, Zachariah (Janelle) McNally, Brooke McNally, Angie (Jim) Raisleger, Brian Cherney, Paul Meyer, Stacie (Jesse) Lawrenz and Justin Meyer; four great-grandchildren, Reese Raisleger, Mackenzi Meye...[more]

Clair Lawrenz and Vincent Lawrenz; two sisters, Helen Bernal and Evelyn Durham; his foster siblings, Al Griffin, Gary Griffin, and Barb Griffin; his nieces and nephews, Scott (Pam) Griffin, Mark (Patti) Griffin and Cheryl (Mark) Larson and their daughter, Katherine; and his brother-in-law, Odes Marten, his cats Imp and Skamp as well as many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John McNally and Joseph McNally; and his foster siblings, Dan (Mona) Griffin and Joyce Franco. Visitation will take place Thursday, March 1 after 1 PM at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 South Ridge Road, where the funeral service will be held at 4 PM with the Rev. Earl Vorpagel III officiating.
