Patricia Eugster

Eugster, Patricia Stoughton- Patricia Ann Eugster, age 81, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. She was born in Madison on September 18, 1930, a daughter of Earl and Mona (Dunnwell) Collins. Patricia attended Oregon Schools and married her high school sweetheart, John Carl Eugster on November 8, 1952. They worked side by side on their dairy farm on Hwy 138 and raised six children. Patricia was a devoted wife and mother. She was a foster mother to several infants and older children, and a second mother to nieces, nephews and her children's friends. With a generous heart, she treated everyone like family, and was very involved in caring for others, including animals. She counted herself a very lucky lady. Full of life, she will be remembered for her fun, adventurous nature, and her wonderful sense of humor. In addition to farming, Pat enjoyed success as a real estate agent, worked with special needs children, and waitressed at the Hoffman House. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 323 N. Van Buren, Stoughton, with Monsignor Gerard Healy officiating. The family will greet friends at church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service at noon. A private burial service will take place at Graves Cemetery in Rutland at a later date.
