Barbara Jean Danskin

Barbara J. Danskin Mrs. Barbara Danskin, of Beech Street in Grafton, passed away Thursday evening, March 1, 2012, at Horizon In-Patient Hospice in Mequon following a valiant battle with cancer. She was 66 years old. Barbara was born in Needham, MA in April 7, 1945, daughter of William and Mildred Searle Sherriff. On September 6, 1961 she married Bruce Danskin in Needham, MA. The couple traveled extensively while raising three children. Mrs. Danskin enjoyed animals. While living in Florida she raised and trained huskies for sled racing. Barbara went back to school to receive her Associates degree in Veterinary Medicine to better assist her in working with Therapy dogs as well her sled dogs. In 2008 the couple moved to Jackson and they later settled in Grafton. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Bruce Danskin of Grafton and their three children: Glen (Rev. Linda) Danskin of Aurora, CO, Terri (Ryan Mrazik) Danskin of Slinger and Kurt (Robb Ainslie) Danskin of Grafton. eces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. At her request, Barbara was cremated. The family will recieve visitors at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 10th, at the Berkshire Community Room, 1004 Beech St., Grafton, prior to a Celebration of Barbaras life at 11AM.
