Kevin John Dryer, 37, of Goodell, IA formally of Otter Creek, IA, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at his home of unknown causes. A visitation will be 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday (March 8, 2012) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA   A celebration of his life will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Otter Creek, IA. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the church. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Church Cemetery. The Carson Celebration Of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family. Kevin John Dryer was born February 14, 1975 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Allen and Donna (Blosch) Dryer.  He attended school in Maquoketa, graduating in 1993. While in high school he was active in FFA. He worked construction for many years before starting work at WalMart in 2000, he worked in the Waverly, Cedar Falls, and Mason City where he was currently was working as an overnight stocker.    On June 6, 2005 he started his life with Anita (Dilger) Goedicke and their daughter, Shelie was born in 2006.  Kevin was a wonderful husband and father who made his family happy and loved ever...[more]

every day.  The three of them were very close to his parents, and he will be forever missed by his family and friends.  He loved pulling trucks with his father and was a member of Heartland Truck Pullers.   He is survived by his partner, Anita Goedicke; his daughter, Shelie; parents, Allen and Donna Dryer of Otter Creek; and two brothers and their families.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Mary Ann Blosch and Alvin and Florence Dryer.
