Carol Sue Miller ROCKFORD, Illinois -- Carol Sue Miller, 72, of Rockford, Illinois, died on Friday, March 9, 2012, in her home. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the First Evangelical Free Church, 2223 N. Mulford Road. The Rev. Chuck Rife will officiate services. Burial will take place in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the Olson Funeral and Cremation Services, Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Avenue, Rockford, Illinois, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to Youth With a Mission, P.O. Box 268408, Chicago, Ill. 60626, and Polycystic Kidney Foundation, 8330 Ward Parkway, Suite 510, Kansas City, Mo. 64114-2000. Carol Sue Miller was born on March 2, 1940, in Dixon, Illinois, the daughter of Richard J. and Carmen O. Baker Stevens. She graduated from Elgin High School and attended Elgin Community College. loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a gifted singer and artist, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Craig Miller of Rockford, Illinois; children, Lisa Marcinek and husband, John, of Chicago, Illinois, Kyle Johnston of San Clemente, California, and Andrea Seymour and husband, Joe, of Rockford; step-sons, Christopher and Dustin Miller both of Wadsworth, Ohio; grandchildren, Joshua, Kurt, Sean, Sarah, Nicole, Jessica, Madyson, and Maliya; siblings, Sylvia Stanfa and husband, Cyrus, of Rockford, Illinois, Gloria Odens and husband, Donald, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Jerry Stevens and wife, Kathy, of Rockford, Illinois, Barbara Giolitto and husband, Peter, of Rockford, Illinois, and Ruthann Elms and husband, George, of Tempe, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews; and previous husband, Brian Johnston.
