Iola M. Cutler, 55, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away, Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Dumont Wellness Center in Dumont, Iowa. She was born February 19, 1957, in Hampton, Iowa to Vern and Marjorie (Wendt) Cutler. Iola attended Dumont Community Schools and grew up on a farm near Aredale. After high school she moved to Mason City and worked at North Iowa Vocational Center. She then moved to Hampton and worked at Franklin County Work Activity Center. After her father died in 1981, she moved to Dumont with her mother. Iola enjoyed playing cards, crafts, cross stitching, latch hook, jigsaw puzzles and word finds. She moved to Dutchman's Oaks Assisted Living in September 2007. She especially enjoyed playing and helping with bingo and watching the Game Show Network. She was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Dumont, Iowa. Iola is survived by her brother Lyle Cutler of Texas, sister Gail and husband Lance Kittleson of St. Ansgar, brother Lee and wife Jackie Cutler of Greene, sister Wendi and husband Jeff Nederhoff of Greene, nine nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
