Mary Connell Stoutenburg

Mary (Connell) Stoutenburg CAMARILLO, California--Mary (Connell) Stoutenburg battled breast cancer for many years, finally succumbing on February 12, 2012. A celebration of her life was held on February 25, 2012, in Moorpark, California. Mary was born on August 10, 1950, in Muscatine, Iowa, the youngest child of C. N. 'Jack' Connell and Lucille Connell. After receiving training as an X-ray technician, she moved to Southern California where she met and married Dale Stoutenburg in 1977. She and her husband had an X-ray service business in Camarillo, California. After Dale's passing in 1995, she went on to manage dental and veterinary practices in Ventura County and Chico, California. She is survived by her children Eric Stoutenburg and wife, Jenny, and Jackie Stoutenburg; a stepson, Doug Stoutenburg; sisters, Carolyn Kurriger and husband, Frank, of Tacoma, Washington, and Catherine Connell SSS of Sacramento, California; and brother David Connell and wife, Barb, of Davenport, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Thomas. [more]
