Farm Bureau, Civil Air Patrol, and a 4-H leader. In June of 2003, Clarence's health forced him to move to the Avoca Nursing and Rehab Center in Avoca, Iowa. Clarence died at the Avoca Center on March 25, 2004 AT the age of 92 years and 8 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Thelma Sick, son William Sick, daughter-in-law Peggy Sick, great grandson Wyatt Sick, and sister Della Scott. Clarence is survived by his wife Orpha Sick of Oakland; sons Fred Sick and his wife Geralyn of Sioux Center, IA and Jim Sick and his wife Connie of LaVista, NE; daughters Betty Brummett and her husband Roger of Bedford, IA and Gladys Sick of Carson; brother LeRoy Sick of Avoca; sister Helen Osbahr of Avoca; step-children Larry Jacobsen and his wife Jane of Hancock, IA, Cheroylene Holder and her husband Jay of San Diego, CA, Kay Prine of Council Bluffs, IA, Lon Jacobsen and his wife Diane of Avoca, and Lynn Jacobsen of Oakland, IA; 21 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
