ra and Rudolph had been married 49 years when Rudolph died on January 26, 1975. Elvira continued to live on their farm and kept active in the community and her church. After fracturing her pelvis during a fall in September of 2001, Elvira moved into the home of her son Charles and his wife Carleane. Surrounded by her family, Elvira died at their home on January 1, 2005 at the age of 97 years, 8 months, and 16 days. Elvira was preceded in death by her parents; infant son Rudolph William Husz; sisters Annie Schnepel and Hilda Braack; brothers William Braack and Harry Braack; granddaughter Debora Reed-Swingle and granddaughter-in-law Paula Jill Husz. Elvira is survived by her sons Charles Husz and his wife Carleane and Curtiss Husz and his wife Sharon all of Carson; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
