Violet died at the Manor on June 7, 2005 at the age of 96 years, 1 month, and 19 days. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, husband, and sister Anna May Osler. She is survived by her son Darwin Keast and his wife Sharon of Council Bluffs; three grandchildren, Mark Keast of Carson, Janet Bell and her husband Scott of Council Bluffs, Susan Law and her husband Derek of Council Bluffs; four great grandchildren, Ben, Spencer and Jacob Bell and Jayden Law, all of Council Bluffs; nieces and other relatives.
