John Michael Keller

John M. Keller Mr. John Keller, of South Spring Street in Port Washington, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton early Saturday morning, March 24th, 2012 following an extended illness. He was 77 years old. John was born in Port Washington on January 16, 1935, son of Henry and Adela Goedert Keller. On August 13, 1954 he was united in marriage with Ms. Jerry Kelly. The couple settled in Port Washington where they remained and raised their family. Mr. Keller worked for Egelhoff Tree Service and later as an assembler at Simplicity Mfg. in Port Washington for over forty years, retiring in 2002. His wife Jerry preceded him in death in 2004. John enjoyed his family, gardening and working in his yard. He raised various breeds of pigeons for many years and enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and trips to their cabin in Crivitz. John is survived by his four children: Michael (Lize) Keller, Kathy (David) Dockery, both of Port Washington, John (Annette Barter) Keller of Cedar Grove and Matthew (Marzena) Keller, also of Port Washington. A memorial visitation celebrating John's life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 5th from 5-7 p.m. Memorials to the family are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
