Melita (Reynolds) Kimmich, 92, of Dania Beach, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Memorial South Hospital on Friday, March 30, 2012. Melita was born in Newark, New Jersey on March 20, 1920 to Leonard B. and Anne (Martin) Reynolds. Raised and educated in Newark, Mrs. Kimmich and her husband Erwin Kimmich moved to Dania Beach (Fort Lauderdale) Florida in 1953. Melita was a member of the OptiMrs. Club of Dania. Survived by four loving children, Robert E. (Eileen) Kimmich, Maureen A. (Thomas) Davis, Melita L.(Joseph) Harris and Cindy A. (Baron) Gruber, two brothers, John and James Reynolds, five grandchildren, Wendy Greenwell, Kathleen Kimmich, Michael Kimmich, Shawn Davis and Emily Harris. Also survived by three great grandchildren, James, Thomas and Patrick Lahiff. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Erwin Kimmich in 1994, her daughter, Barbara Joan Kimmich and grandson, Brian Greenwell. Visitation on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 4:00 ~ 7:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Memorial Garden Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood.
