Jeffrey G. "Jeff" Soll, 54, of Miles, Iowa, died on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at his home in rural Miles. Public graveside services and burial celebrating Jeff's life will be held at 3:30 P.M., Friday, April 6, 2012, from the Hazen Cemetery, rural Preston, Iowa. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 to 3 P.M. on Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Jeffrey Gene Soll was born on December 25, 1957 in Clinton, Iowa, to James and Vera (Jepsen) Soll. He attended and was educated in the Miles schools. He never married but had a life partner of 30 years, Virginia "Ginny" Heiserman. Jeff had been disabled since a motorcycle accident in 1981. Jeff loved fishing, especially for Trout, music, playing cards, motorcycles, splitting wood with the boys, being in the outdoors, and enjoying the company of good friends.
