Delbert "Del" Dwayne Partington III, 32, of Burlington died at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Great River Medical Center. Born April 6, 1979 in Burlington, he was the son of Delbert Dwayne Partington Jr. and Connie Webb. Mr. Partington was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed installing car stereos, play with his sons and playing Xbox. Survivors include five sons, Orion Partington, Mikel Partington, Marshall Partington, Austin Staats and Aaron McIntosh; one daughter, Khrysta Beaird of Davenport; his mother, Connie (Greg) Webb of West Burlington; father, Delbert Partington Jr. of Tennessee; maternal grandmother, Renate McDonald, paternal grandmother, Gloria Trout Partington; three sisters, Christina Partington and Gloria Durst both of Davenport and Cassie Webb of Tomah, Wisconsin; his girlfriend, Lacey McDannel of Burlington; one niece and nephews; one special aunt, Amy Williams and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandfathers. No formal visitation or funeral service is planned at this time. A memorial has been established for the family.
