ed in Ponca where they raised five children. Judy was the bookkeeper for their business, Davey T.V. Sales and Service. Additionally, she and Pat operated the "Stardust River Cruise Excursions", in a business partnership with Dave and Marilyn Hogan, for five years. Pat passed away on December 16, 1980. Judy also worked as a clerk for Nebraska Public Power District, as an administrative assistant in IBP, and was the office manager for the Ponca Medical Clinic. She married Darrell Cooper on June 19, 1992, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ponca, NE. After living in Ponca for a number of years the couple moved to Dakota Dunes, SD. Darrell and Judy enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. They especially enjoyed attending shows in Branson, MO. They moved to Sunrise Retirement Community in March of 2010. Darrell passed away on October 13, 2010. Judy continued to reside at Sunrise where she most recently benefited from the health services of the memory care unit. During her lifetime Judy was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters. In her early life as a homemaker Judy enjoyed hosting family gatherings which included picnicking at the farm, boating trips on the Missouri River, and vacationing with her family. She especially loved holidays where she loved to prepare meals and to entertain for special occasions. Survivors include her children, John (Tamie) Davey of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Larry (Donna) Davey of Newcastle, NE, Francine (Dave) Hassler of Ponca, NE, Rick (Tammy) Davey of Ponca, NE, and Rob Davey and David Lane of Ponca, NE; step-children, Rick Cooper of Omaha, NE, and Shari (Mark) Warner of Missouri Valley, IA; 1 sister, Diane Sheets of Bullhead City, AZ; 8 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Byron Kruse of Ponca, NE; brother and sister-in-law, Lowell and Rita Cooper of Sioux City, IA; and many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Pat Davey and Darrell Cooper; 2 sisters, Colleen Murphy, and Lorrie Kruse; 1 step-daughter-in-law, June Cooper; and 1 grandson, Daniel Davey.
