In 1985, Gene's 1911 Ford won the Grand Champion award over 350 other entrants at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. He was a member of the Model T Ford Club of America, the Model T Ford Club International, and The Great River Flivvers. Gene is survived by his wife, Vera Fuller of Muscatine; two sons, Joel Fuller and wife, Dianne, and John Fuller and wife, Darla, all of Muscatine; one daughter, Julie Tinnes and husband, Doug, of Keota; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Janet Hunter of Cedar Rapids. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and twin granddaughters.
