Ikie Gilbert

Ikie Gilbert Jr., age 82 of Franklin passed away, Thursday, May 10, 2012. He was born August 2, 1930 in Breathitt County, KY the son of Ikie and Sallie Bell Gilbert. He retired from Chaney & Pulp after 40 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jenny; a son Scotty; infant sister, Eula Mae Gross; sister, Juanita Mencisk; and two brothers, Arnville and Charlie Gilbert. Ikie is survived by his sons, Ricky, Lonnie, Timmy, and Terry Gilbert all of Franklin and a grandchild, Jeffrey Gilbert (Megan) of Franklin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends and his special little girl, Harlee Lamb. Funeral service will be Monday, May 14, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin).
